With 'Beg for Mercy', 50 brought his fellow rap compatriots Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo to the forefront. Besides collaborative efforts, each member also had solo songs.

Their debut release, was loaded with hit records including 'Poppin Them Thangs,' 'Stunt 101' and 'Wanna Get To Know You', that burned up the charts for months after the albums release.

'Beg for Mercy' sold 330,000 copies in its 2nd week to peak at #2 on the Billboard 200, while moving another 195,000 units in its 3rd week. By April 2008, it had sold over 3.9 million units in the U.S., 5.8 million copies worldwide, and has since been certified 4x Platinum.

50 Cent was the hottest act in hip-hop at that time and brought his crew along with him to enjoy in the spoils. 'Beg For Mercy' is one of the greatest group records in hip-hop history.
