Salt-N-Pepa are joining figures like Britney Spears, Aaliyah and Toni Braxton in getting the dubious honor of a Lifetime biopic, that will see the iconic hip hop group's story told on the network.
In this Lifetime biopic, simply called Salt-N-Pepa, the band's central trio Salt, Pepa and Spinderella are played by All American's GG Townson, The Bobby DeBarge Story's Laila Odom and The Next Step's Monique Paul respectively. The biopic will see the trio go from being nursing students to the band that brought us immortal party anthems like "Push It," "Let's Talk About Sex" and "Whatta Man."
