Ray J appears to be following in the footsteps of ex Kim Kardashian as it's revealed he is in secret talks with members of the Trump Administration in his own bid for criminal justice reform.
According to a source the 38-year-old Love & Hip Hop star has been lobbying for Trump to pardon music executive and friend Marion 'Suge' Knight, who was convicted of manslaughter in 2018.
Suge was sentenced to 28 years behind bars last October after pleading no contest to a charge of voluntary manslaughter for a January of 2015 incident in which he struck and killed 55-year-old Terry Carter and injured Cle "Bones" Sloan in a hit-and-run. He could be released in a little more than 10 years due to credit for time served and prison overcrowding.
A source close to the singer says he is now hoping the president will pardon Knight for his crimes because he believes his friend has learned from his mistakes and is ready to turn over a new leaf.
