Luda's back!
On Friday (May 22), the 42-year-old rap veteran dropped his new single “S.O.T.L. (Silence of the Lambs)” featuring Lil Wayne. The Timbaland-produced track marks Ludacris’ first solo release since his 2017 single “Vices.”
As fans know, Luda teased "S.O.T.L.," which reflects on his 20+ year rap career, during his Verzuz battle with Nelly earlier this month, and came under fire for a controversial lyric he spits on the track.
While the rapper-turned-actor makes a number of celebrity references on the song — he mentions Tekashi 6ix9ine, Kendall Jenner and more — his mentioning of R. Kelly and Bill Cosby caused quite the uproar.
"The world screwed if ni**as pouring drinks like Bill Huxtable," he rapped before adding, "I love R. Kelly but around my daughters, I'm not comfortable."
