Mariah Carey’s 'All I Want for Christmas is You' earned three Guinness World Records this week.
The singer's iconic 1994 Christmas song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' was honoured by the Guinness World Records organisation during her Christmas show at the Colosseum in Las Vegas on Monday.
According to E!News, Carey now holds the record for having the highest-charting holiday song on the Hot 100 by a solo artist.
Apart from this, the other two awards were the most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours with over 10.8 million streams back in December 2018.
The third one: 'All I Want For Christmas Is You" breaking the record for most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song.
Sharing the happy moment on Instagram, Mariah shared her on-stage pictures and wrote:
"Thank you so much Guinness World Records for honoring me with three records in the 2020 book! Michael from @guinnessworldrecords presented me with a certificate on stage, so naturally, I asked him to join us for the #AllIWantForChristmasIsYou finale!."
These three records have made it to the Guiness World Records 2020 Edition Book.
Lighting up the stage, Mariah performed the hit single to a sold out auditorium even after all these years.
