Fantasia, Yolanda Adams and Andra Day Will Honor Aretha Franklin with Grammy Tribute Performance

The 2019 Grammy Awards is just a few days away!

We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate music’s biggest night and the star-studded night looks to be as memorable as ever.

The Recording Academy announced yesterday that Andra Day, Fantasia, and Yolanda Adams will honor the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin at the awards ceremony.

Last year, both Yolanda Adams and Fantasia performed at Franklin’s funeral and also paid the Queen a tribute during the 2019 Black Girls Rock! ceremony. It was just last month when a group of celebrities participated in the “Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul,”which was organized by The Recording Academy and CBS.

The tribute concert was hosted by Tyler Perry and included performances from Celine Dion, Shirley Caesar, Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle, Alicia Keys, and many others!

Aretha Franklin, an 18-time Grammy award-winning artist passed away this past August after battling with pancreatic cancer, she was 76-years-old.

You can expect to see performances from your favorite artists this year at the 61st annual Grammy Awards including Lady Gaga, H.E.R., Cardi B, and more! This year’s award ceremony is hosted by Alicia Keys!

It all goes down on February 10th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
