Fresh out of prison, DMX is hitting the road.
DMX has announced a tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of his 1998 debut album, It’s Dark and Hell is Hot. The rapper, who was recently released from federal prison after serving a year for tax evasion, will hit the road beginning in March for a North American tour, stopping in NYC, Boston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, San Diego, Seattle, Detroit, and more. See all of the dates below.
The NYC stop of DMX’s tour happens at Irving Plaza on April 5, 2019. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8 at 10 AM, with various presales starting Tuesday, February 5 at 10 AM.
It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, featuring the singles “Ruff Ryders Anthem” and “Get at Me Dog,” actually came out in May 1998, but DMX’s incarceration pushed the 20th anniversary celebration into 2019.
