Diddy And Jermaine Dupri Will Face Off In The Next Verzuz

In a video posted to social media over the weekend, Diddy confirmed that he and Jermaine Dupri have scheduled their Verzuz battle for the fall. In the video, Diddy says the two will face-off at Madison Square Garden on Friday, September 8.

"September 8th at the Garden, n***a," Diddy says to Busta and Fabolous. "We're going to have you flying out the rafters."

Sounds like we have an official date for @diddy @verzuztv @jermainedupri," Busta stated in his Instagram caption.

Despite Diddy's assurance, neither Swizz Beatz nor Timbaland have made a formal statement. In truth, Jermaine Dupri has yet to comment on whether or not this date is fixed in stone.

However, this is one of the Verzuz confrontations that fans have been anticipating since the series' start. Jermaine Dupri and Diddy have both indicated interest in competing.

Both Diddy and Dupri became prominent in the 1990s as musical moguls, introducing hip-hop and R&B acts such as The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, Ma$e, 112, Da Brat, XSCAPE, Bow Wow and more.
